Cinema Today released a new promotional video with more than 5 minutes of live action for the second Rurouni Kenshin : Kyoto Taika-hen (Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno, Samurai X: Kyoto Inferno), the second film that will begin showing in Japanese cinemas on August 1st.
The two new films will cover the Kyoto arc from the original manga by author Nobuhiro Watsuki .
Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen (Kyoto Inferno) will hit theaters in Japan on August 1, and Rurouni Kenshin: Densetsu no Saigo-hen (The Legend Ends) is slated for release on September 13. Principal photography for both films wrapped on December 27 after six months of filming.
