Cinema Today has released a new promotional video, over 5 minutes long, for the live-action adaptation of the second Rurouni Kenshin : Kyoto Taika-hen (Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno, Samurai X: Kyoto Inferno), which will begin showing in Japanese cinemas on August 1st.
The two new films will cover the Kyoto arc from the original manga by author Nobuhiro Watsuki .
Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen (Kyoto Inferno) will arrive in Japanese theaters on August 1st, and Rurouni Kenshin: Densetsu no Saigo-hen (The Legend Ends) is scheduled to arrive on September 13th. Principal photography for both films wrapped on December 27th, after six months of filming.
