Shueisha's June Jump Square magazine is announcing that Nobuhiro Watsuki (Buso Renkin) will launch a new Rurouni Kenshin spinoff manga about the villainous character Shishio Makoto .
The ad 's reads, " The raising of the flag of evil that evil has fallen in love with is finally about to be revealed. " The new work titled Aku no Kioku (Record of Evil ) will be written by Watsuki to accompany the two live-action films that are scheduled for August 1 and September 13 in Japan . Shueisha will reveal more information about the spinoff manga in the July issue of Jump Square .
The June issue of Jump Square also revealed that Watsuki will be putting his manga on hiatus . Watsuki plans to resume the series , with the arc in the fall.
