Rurouni Kenshin: New trailer for season 2 reveals clash in the 'Kyoto Inferno' arc

A new trailer was highlighted on social media for the anime Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X), specifically for the 'Kyoto Inferno' arc of season 2.

In the video we can hear the ending theme “Suiko Setten” by the band NOMELON NOLEMON. Therefore, the series will feature two consecutive arcs, scheduled to debut in the October 2024 season.

Synopsis:

The story follows the swordsman Shredder Kenshin Himura , known as one of the best swordsmen in the country, who is tired of killing so much. However, his past comes back to haunt him and Kenshin will be forced to wield his sword again against old and new enemies that surround him.

Therefore, the new anime TV series debuted in July with 24 episodes in the first season. Now, the second season, titled “Kyoto Inferno”, will begin airing in October 2024.

Finally, Nobuhiro Watsuki's original work began to be published in 1994 in “Weekly Shonen Jump,” and in 1996, it was adapted into its first anime TV series.
