Ryo Kono, artist behind Mob Psycho 100, has passed away

On October 23rd, my aunt Ryo Kono passed away suddenly due to possible gastrointestinal bleeding. I can't hide my confusion at this sudden loss. Every project my aunt worked on was a source of pride for our family. I want to express my sincere gratitude [to Ryo Kono] for the kindness he showed me in life.

Ryo Kono's Legacy in the Anime Industry

She worked on prominent titles such as Ninja Scroll , Psycho-Pass and Tokyo Ghoul , but it was Mob 100 where she stood out as an art director.
