A while ago, the classic Street Fighter got a very fun Live-Action video, called “ Street Fighter: Legacy ”, more like a short film. In 2013, the producers launched a Kickstarter campaign so that the series could be made. However, it was soon canceled as someone had provided the money needed for production.
Called Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist in Portuguese (Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist) the “webseries” based on the series of fighting games and which will tell the origin of Ryu and Ken, and has already started recording. The plot focuses on the training of Ken (Christian Howard), Ryu (Mike Moh) and their master, Gouken (Akira Koieyama, Shogen).
Joey Ansah directs and co-writes the script with Howard. The web series is scheduled to premiere in 2014.
