The October issue of Kodansha shōjo 's Nakayoshi announced an anime adaptation of Hidekichi Matsumoto's Sabagebu! (short for Survival Game Club!) was given the green light for 2014. Masahiko Ohta (Yuruyuri – Happy Go Lily) will direct the anime based on scripts by Takashi Aoshima (Kotoura-san).
The story of the original manga revolves around Momoka Sonokawa , a girl who has transferred to high school and joined a club that holds survival games.
