During the online event Kadokawa Light Novel Expo 2021 anime of Sabikui Bisco was revealed . The new anime is based on the light novel by author Shinji Kobkubo .

Synopsis:
The story takes place in Japan where a "rusty wind" corrodes everything it touches. People live in fear of the rust that corrodes the cities and life in general. A boy named Bisco Akaboshi from the despised Mushroom Guardian tribe embarks on a journey to obtain the "Rust-Eating" mushroom – a miracle drug that purifies all rust.
Finally, the manga was released in 2018, and its 6th volume was released in June 2020.
