
To the delight of fans, it was announced during the “Animate Girls Festival 2014” that Sailor Moon Crystal will have a second season. As expected, the 26 episodes will cover the first two seasons of the famous manga, with 13 acts from the Dark Kingdom arc and 13 continuing with the story of Crystal Tokyo and the 30th century. The event also featured five members of the anime's main cast.
The five actresses who participated in the event, who provide the main voices for the Sailor Guardians, met for the first time in a live talk and announced that the Black Moon arc will begin on January 17, 2015.
The anime premiered on July 5th in Japan and airs on the first and third Saturdays of each month.
Several pamphlets were distributed to the public during the event, revealing Sailor Chibi Moon and Sailor Moon with the Crystal Star.
