Toei Animation has released a teaser for the new Sailor Moon anime , called “Sailor Moon Eternal” .
The main character is Usagi Tsukino, a clumsy, air-headed, yet energetic second-year high school girl. But one day, she encounters Luna, a black cat with a crescent moon on her forehead. Usagi then transforms into Sailor Moon, the Magic Knight in a sailor outfit: the Guardian of Love and Justice! And as the chosen guardian, Usagi and the other guardians embark on a mission to find the Legendary Silver Crystal sent by Queen Beryl of the Dark Kingdom. (Via: Animystic )
The film is scheduled to premiere on November 9th , and will feature Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Kirito in Sword Art Online, Bell Cranel in Danmachi) to voice the character Pegasus/Helios.
Additionally, several voice actors already known to fans will be present in the film:
- Kotono Mitsuishi as Usagi Tsukino / Sailor Moon
- Hisako Kanemoto as Ami Mizuno / Sailor Mercury
- Rina Satou as Rei Hino / Sailor Mars
- Ami Koshimizu as Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter
- Shizuka Itou as Chibi-Usa / Sailor Chibi Moon
