Knights of the Zodiac arrives as Knights of the Zodiac

Nobody expected this, folks. The classic anime Saint Seiya, which was a huge hit in the 90s, will get a new series developed exclusively by Netflix. The production will be called Knights of the Zodiac, will have 12 episodes of 30 minutes each, and will be written by Eugene Son , the same writer of Avengers: Secret Wars .

The announcement was made during an event in Tokyo, Japan.

Saint Seiya (Knights of the Zodiac) is one of the biggest animation franchises in the world, with total revenue exceeding US$1.1 billion since 1986, and Kurumada's original manga has sold over 35 million copies worldwide.
