Author Chimaki Kuori launched a Saint Seiya spinoff manga titled Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō in the October issue of Akita Shoten 's Champion RED . It all starts after Masami Kurumada's classic main story in the Saint Seiya manga.
Synopsis: The story takes place after the original events of Saint Seiya, but now Athena is protected by a woman called “Shô”, from the constellation of Cavalo Minor, a companion of Athena who is willing to sacrifice her life to protect her from those who would dare to rise up against her.
