We can finally breathe a sigh of relief, it has been confirmed that the legend will continue with full force, as Bandai during the Tamashii Nation in Akihabara, Japan, confirmed that a new Saint Seiya anime, or Knights of the Zodiac for the Brazilian public, is in production.
The series will be titled Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold and will be a spinoff set to premiere in Japan this spring (between March and July). The promotional image shows Aioria wearing divine armor.
No details have been revealed. We don't know if it will be a TV series, an OVA, or even a movie. The fact is that the main factor behind this new anime is selling the new line of EX Soul of Gold figures. The Uncle Aioria version has already been revealed and will be available for purchase in April of next year (likely to coincide with the new production).
