The new saga arrives in December this year on the ANIMAX and PlayStation streaming services. The series will introduce a new class of Athena warriors, known as Saintia, different from the warriors who appeared in author Masami Kurumada , called Amazons in the original. They are Athena's personal protective guard, and are only seen protecting her, which is why they are considered legends where they protect the sanctuary of Eris, the goddess of discord.
Currently on Netflix is the anime Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya, which is the remake of the classic Knights of the Zodiac series that is also being produced by Toei Animation .
