The new saga arrives in December of this year on the streaming services ANIMAX and PlayStation. The series will introduce a new class of Athena's warriors, known as Saintia, different from the warriors who appeared in the classic saga by author Masami Kurumada , called Amazons in the original. They are Athena's personal guard, and are only seen protecting her, which is why they are considered legends who protect the sanctuary from Eris, the goddess of discord.
Currently on Netflix is the anime Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya, which is the remake of the classic Knights of the Zodiac series that is also being produced by Toei Animation .
