At first, Shin is learning more about his powers during the fight. He realizes he can only paralyze an enemy once, as he's never paralyzed the same person twice!

However, this doesn't make our boy wary, and he charges at Tenkyuu, intent on killing him. In the midst of this fight, Tenkyuu also realizes that Shin can't use his powers with multiple pieces of debris at once.
Now, he ends up seriously wounding our hero's leg, but is forced to back away, as his arrows still have no effect. At the end, we see that Tenkyuu's covered eye also possesses mysterious powers, and he hits an arrow several meters away thanks to this eye!
