The continuation of the anime Samurai Warriors ( Yoroi-Shinden Samurai Troopers ) now has a confirmed release date. The official website confirmed that the second part of the series will premiere in July, right after the conclusion of the first cour, which aired until March. The production marks the return of the classic samurai action .
The new series premiered on January 6th in Japan, airing on channels such as Tokyo MX and BS11, as well as streaming on platforms like U-NEXT and Anime Store. Internationally, Crunchyroll is making the anime available simultaneously to a global audience.
The anime is directed by Yoichi Fujita at Sunrise studio, known for works such as Gintama. Shogo Muto supervises the scripts, while the soundtrack is by Shuji Katayama. The project also features updated designs for the characters and Yoroi Gear armor.

The plot follows five young people in Shinjuku who use Yoroi Gear armor to confront the demonic emperor Arago. The work maintains the basis of the original Yoroiden Samurai Troopers , which aired between 1988 and 1989.
Known in the West as Samurai Warriors, the franchise gained popularity outside of Japan and received OVAs and re-releases over the years. Now, this new phase updates the concept for a new generation of viewers.
