During an event in the United States, novelist Kaworu Kurosaki, wife of author Nobushiro Watsuki , revealed that Nobushiro Watsuki is working on a spin-off manga of his successful Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin), which will focus on the enemies that Kenshin faces in the series.
Kaworu Kurosaki took advantage of the opportunity to gather information from the audience about which characters should be featured in the new series, and some of the most frequently mentioned names were Enishi Yukishiro and Yumi Kogamata. These suggestions were noted, and Kurosaki informed her husband of the request.
