Finally, the launch of the game SAO Alicization Lycoris is near, and Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for the game.

Bandai Namco Entertainment previously delayed the game's release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to July 9th and for PC to July 10th in Japan due to safety concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The game will now launch in North America and Europe on July 10th. The game's release date for North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia was originally announced as May 22nd.
SAO Alicization Lycoris Sword Art Online light novel and the Sword Art Online: Alicization anime Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld anime series , which premiered last October. Instead, the game branches off into its own gameplay path at this point.
The Sword Art Online: Alicization anime premiered in Japan in October 2018 and is streaming on Crunchyroll , Hulu , and FunimationNow . The series adapts the entire Alicization arc from Reki Kawahara . The first two cours aired from October 2018 to March 2019, and the third, titled Sword Art Online: Alicization – War of Underworld , premiered last October. The fourth cour was scheduled to premiere on April 25, but was also delayed to July 11 .
