A new movie titled Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Kuraki Yuuyami no Scherzo will release in 2022.
Synopsis
A month has passed since Akihiko Kayaba's deadly game began, and the body count continues to rise. Two thousand players have already died. Kirito and Asuna are two very different people, but both long to fight alone. However, they feel drawn to face challenges both internal and external. Given that the entire virtual world they now live in was created as a death trap, the surviving Sword Art Online players are beginning to feel desperate, and this feeling becomes dangerous for loners like Kirito and Asuna . As it becomes clear that loneliness equals suicide, will the two be able to overcome their differences to find the strength and belief in each other to survive?
It is worth remembering that the film is scheduled to premiere here in Brazil, however, without a release date set yet.
