Synopsis

The story of the “Unital Ring” arc then begins a month after Kirito and Asuna returned from the underworld along with Alice, who took on a physical form in the real world. Suddenly, they become involved in a mysterious Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) survival game called Unital Ring, which merges all the virtual reality MMOs that were built with “The Seed” program. As soon as the game starts, Kirito loses all of his favorite equipment and is left with just a pair of pants. Kirito and the others must then start the game at level 1.
