Kadokawa revealed this Sunday that Sasaki to Miyano will have a film that will be released in Japan in 2023. The film titled Sasaki to Miyano: Sotsugyo-hen will be shown alongside a short adaptation of the spinoff manga Hirano to Kagiura , by Shou Harusono .
Shinji Ishihira is returning to direct the film at Studio DEEN. Other returning staff members include Takahiro Ueno as assistant director, Yoshiko Nakamura as screenwriter, Maki Fujii as character designer, and Kana Shibue as composer.

Sasaki to Miyano Synopsis:
After a chance meeting with the veteran Sasaki, the two form an unusual friendship around the romances that Miyano tries at all costs to hide from his friends. However, Sasaki feels attracted to Miyano's way of being, and uses any opportunity to get closer to the boy.
The anime adaptation premiered on January 9 and aired for a total of 12 episodes.
