The announcement of Scarlet Nexus was made during an Xbox Inside Livestream .
For now, the game is only confirmed for Xbox One and Xbox Series X. However, it's unlikely that this exclusivity will hold.

Scarlet Nexus is set in the distant future, where a psionic hormone has been discovered in the human brain, granting people extrasensory powers and changing the world as we know it. Just as humanity was entering this new era, deranged mutants, known as Others, began descending from the sky, thirsting for human brains. Highly resistant to conventional methods of attack, extreme measures needed to be taken to combat the overwhelming threat and preserve humanity. Those with acute extrasensory abilities, known as psionics, were our chance to fight back from above. To this day, psionics have been sought after for their talents and recruited into the Other Suppression Force (OSF), humanity's last line of defense.
