Netflix released the first teaser for its anime adaptation of Scott Pilgrim . Additionally, the video confirms the anime's premiere date: November 17th.

The Scott Pilgrim anime was produced by the studio Science SARU , which is responsible for the animation of Star Wars: Visions , Devilman Crybaby , and Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!. The creator of the comic book himself, Bryan Lee O'Malley , wrote the script for the animation, in addition to being the executive producer alongside BenDavid Grabinski .
Originally, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World began as a comic book in 2004 and later received a live-action adaptation in 2010. The film's cast also participated in the animation as the voices of the characters. So Michael Cera is Scott Pilgrim, Mary Elizabeth Winstead is Ramona Flowers, Satya Bhabha is Mathew Patel, Chris Evans is Lucas Lee, Anna Kendrick is Stacey Pilgrim, and Brie Larson is Envy Adam.
Synopsis:
Scott, a young, unemployed, and immature musician, falls for the mysterious Ramona Flowers. However, to win Ramona's heart, Scott must confront and defeat her seven evil ex-boyfriends, who are determined to eliminate him to keep the "key" to his beloved's heart. Each ex-boyfriend is presented as a video game-style challenge, with physical and mental battles that reflect the protagonist's past experiences. Therefore, he must confront his past mistakes and deal with the ups and downs of his new relationship.
