The anime Scum of the Brave (Yūsha no Kuzu) has released a new promotional video highlighting important news for the continuation of the season. The production confirmed new characters in the cast and presented the new songs that will accompany the second cour, scheduled to premiere on April 11, 2026.

Among the added names, Tomokazu Sugita plays Father Ayashima, a charismatic hero who runs a peculiar hot spring resort. Ayumu Murase takes on the role of Lord Hazeru Seito, one of the three demon kings who rule regions of Hokkaido.
The soundtrack also receives reinforcements. The trio ClariS sings the opening theme “Revive”, while the band wod is responsible for the ending theme “Non-Fiction”. The film is directed by Shinji Ushiro at studio OLM, with a screenplay by Yoichi Kato and character designs by Rika Murakami.

Synopsis
The story takes place in an alternate 21st century, where wealthy mobsters transform into demon kings through special surgeries. The protagonist, Yashiro, lives a simple life until he agrees to train young hunters known as Braves. However, the job may be more dangerous than it seems.
The anime is available on Crunchyroll , following its weekly broadcast in Japan. Scum of the Brave is an action manga written by Rocket Shokai and illustrated by Nakashima723, published since 2018 on the Comic Border service.
