The highly anticipated second season of Free! It has already been given the green light and it will happen. The official website of Free! revealed that the second season will arrive on Japanese screens on July 2nd.
This season sees the arrival of a new character called Sosuke Yamazaki . Rin 's best friend and understands him very well. He has a strong temper and is extremely strict with everything related to swimming.
The group OLDCODEX will be responsible for the opening, which will be “Dried Up Youthful Fame” and the ending theme, which will be “Future Fish” by Nobunaga Shimazaki, Tatsuhisa Suzuki, Mamoru Miyano, Tsubasa Yonaga and Daisuke Hirakawa.
Free! revolves around the character Haruka Nanase, a boy who has always loved being in the water and swimming. Before graduating from elementary school, he and his swimming club classmates (Makoto Tachibana, Hazuki Nagisa, and Rin Matsuoka) participated in a tournament. After winning, everyone went their own way individually.
