The official website for the anime Kin-iro Mosaic by author Yui Hara has announced a second season for the project, with more details coming soon.

The story of the first season begins with 15-year-old Oomiya Shinobu, a seemingly pure Japanese girl who spent time in Britain. Even after returning to Japan, she still misses her time abroad. One day, a letter arrives from Alice, the girl from the family who took Shinobu in Britain. The letter reads: "Shinobu, I'm going to Japan!" This Japanese-British comedy follows the lives of Shinobu, Alice, and other girls from Japan and Britain.

The first arrived last summer. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime in several regions, and Sentai Filmworks has also licensed it for North America.
