The anime Seihantaina Kimi to Boku ( You and I Are Polar Opposites ) will premiere on January 11, 2026, animated by studio Lapin Track. Additionally, a new visual featuring the main characters has been revealed.

The story follows Suzuki , an energetic girl who loves to follow the crowd, and Tani , a quiet boy who isn't afraid to speak his mind. The dynamic between these two opposites promises to elicit laughter and touch the hearts of the audience.
Released as a one-shot in January 2021, the manga You and I Are Polar Opposites began serialization on May 2, 2022. Since then, it has won over readers with its lighthearted tone and relatable characters. Currently, the manga has over 1.35 million copies in circulation , standing out in awards such as the Manga Taisho Awards , where it placed 3rd in 2023 and 7th in 2024.
