Curiosities about Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha

First, it's worth noting that those who participated in this interview were: Rui Tsukiyo (author), Masafumi Tamura (director), and Katsuhiko (anime screenwriter). The author commented that he has always enjoyed writing darker stories, as they give more prominence to the hero overcoming sad and unjust events. Furthermore, he affirms that he will continue with his dark stories as long as they remain popular!

Not to mention that Rui says he doesn't like characters who hesitate, and it's no coincidence that Lugh is like that. According to Rui, fans prefer strong and determined people, so he avoids characters who are always in doubt. But he also comments that he fears the audience won't empathize with the protagonist, since he doesn't show feelings. Even so, this is something he handled very well.

Masafumi explains how complicated the production was, since they worked with two studios: Silver Link did the odd-numbered episodes and Pallete handled the even-numbered ones. Furthermore, he comments on how much he liked the transition in the character's voice, from the old assassin to the reborn boy – it was perfect for him.

Furthermore, when he heard the opening theme song, Masafumi was quite unsure about how to handle it. However, after seeing the anime being produced, he left it in the hands of Ayaka Nakata (Studio Pallete) to help create the opening.

Finally, everyone commented that their favorite episode was the first one, because it perfectly showed the duality of the two worlds: when he was the best assassin until he was reborn as a young man and worked with his new partners, full of magic.

Well folks, those were some interesting facts about this fantastic work. Leave a comment below and see you next time!
