North American anime distributor FUNimation announced that it has acquired the rights to stream the anime Selector Infected WIXOSS . The first episode will be available to subscribers on April 3rd at 1:49 PM EDT, and will be available for free a week later.
The anime's tagline reads: Hope, Desire, Greed. In other words, girls with these feelings are being targeted and, in turn, absorbed by this dangerous game. Takuya Satō (Steins;Gate, Armitage III) is directing, and Mari Okada (Anohana, Hana-Saku Iroha) is in charge of the series' script.
WIXOSS is a very popular card game, especially among high school children. But few know about the LRIG Card, "the card of girls who have a will." Only special girls can hear LRIG's voice, and those who possess this card are called selectors.
