My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

The August cover of the Japanese magazine Comic Gene highlights that the manga Servamp will be getting an anime adaptation. The company Seven Seas published the second compiled book volume in June. The company provides a brief description of the story:

The story follows young Mahiru Shirota, a high school student whose life changes overnight when he finds a black cat named Kuro on the street. Kuro is, in fact, no ordinary feline, but a servamp: a vampire servant. This becomes entangled in an ancient and completely surreal conflict between vampires and humans.

Author Strike Tanaka launched the series in Japan through Comic Gene in 2011. Kadokawa published the seventh compiled volume in Japan in December.
