The August cover of the Japanese magazine Comic Gene highlights that the Servamp will be adapted into an anime. The company Seven Seas published the second volume of the compiled book in June. The company describes a little of the history:
The story follows young “Mahiru Shirota”, a high school student, who, when he encounters a black cat on the street named Kuro, his life changes from day to night. Kuro is, in fact, no ordinary feline, but a servamp: a vampire servant. Involving in a completely surreal ancient conflict between vampires and humans.
Author Strike Tanaka launched the series in Japan through Comic Gene in 2011. Kadokawa published the seventh compiled volume in Japan in December.
