The anime will premiere on October 5th on Japanese television.
Accused of attempting to overthrow the monarchy, the feared warriors of The Seven Deadly Sins were sent into exile. Princess Elizabeth discovers the truth (the Sins were plotted against by the king's guards, the Holy Knights) too late to prevent them from assassinating her father and seizing the throne!
Now the princess searches for the Sins to help her reclaim the kingdom. But the first Sin she encounters, Meliodas, is a small-time innkeeper with a talking pig. He doesn't have a real sword! Could the legendary Sins have been exaggerated?
