Fiok Lee 's manga Seven Sleeping Beauties ( Shichinin no Nemuri-hime ) will receive a television anime adaptation. The announcement was made on Tuesday with the opening of the series' official website, which confirmed a 2027 premiere and revealed a teaser visual, as well as the first names of the main cast.
Seven princesses and a sleeping kingdom
Among the confirmed characters are Flora, voiced by Aya Yamane, Kiara by Yoshino Aoyama, Claire by Miku Ito, Mia by Ayasa Ito, Charlotte by Kana Ichinose, Yuka by Fuka Izumi, and Eliza by Rina Kawaguchi. The plot blends fantasy, romance, and fairy tale elements in a narrative set in a kingdom shrouded in mystery.
Synopsis
The story follows Alec, the third prince of a neighboring kingdom, who embarks on a mission to save the small kingdom of Amaryllis. However, after a curse cast by a witch puts the entire population into a deep sleep, he decides to awaken the local princess.
The series will be directed by Mankyu , known for his work on The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague and Migi & Dali . Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ SMASH will handle the animation. Keiichiro Ochi will supervise the scripts , while Masaru Koseki will be responsible for character design.
Furthermore, the work has been published in Kodansha 's Afternoon magazine since March 2023 , and the manga will reach its 12th volume in July.
