One Piece – Several volumes of the manga have sold over 1 million copies

Oricon company reported that the 100th volume of the One Piece manga sold 1.173 million printed copies, placing it first on the company's weekly comic book chart for the week of August 30th to September 5th.

The series has ranked 50 consecutive volumes at number 1 since Oricon began posting the weekly comic book chart in March 2008. It is the only work to launch a volume at number one every year in the chart's 14-year history.

The first One Piece volume to be included on the chart was the 50th volume, released on June 16, 2008. One Piece is the series with the highest number of millions of volumes sold in print since 2008, ahead of Attack on Titan in second place with 34 volumes, followed by Naruto

Author Eiichiro Oda began serializing the One Piece manga in Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump on July 19, 1997.
