The official anime SHABAKE has revealed a new trailer and look of the series. However, fans learned of their official release forecast.

Shabake anime takes place in October 2025. Therefore the anime gained direction by Takahiro ōkawa in the animated studio BN Pictures .
Shabake Synopsis:
Set in the Edo era, the story follows Ichitarō, a kind but fragile young man who is protected by a mysterious spirit. Renowned voice actor Daiki Yamashita will voice the protagonist in the adaptation.
First published in 2001, the series of novels gained several sequential volumes and has more than 10 million copies in circulation.
However, Shabake has already inspired two live-action series, manga, plays, musicals, radio dramas, illustrated books and even an online anime released in July 2021. However, the new TV adaptation will have a cast and production team completely new compared to the previous version.
