The official website for the Shadowverse Flame anime revealed the first promotional video, voice actors, visuals and the premiere date for April 2 on Tokyo .

The Shadowverse anime features a completely original story, with characters exclusive to the anime itself. The first season centers on Hiiro Ryuugasaki, a student at the Tensei Academy. Through a strange incident, Hiiro obtains a mysterious smartphone. The smartphone installed the popular digital card game “Shadowverse”. Through the game, Hiiro meets rivals, participates in tournaments and forms bonds with others.
The second season portrays the coming of age of protagonist Light Tenryuu and his friends across the Shadowverse.
