Brazil then excelled at RMR Americas, with FURIA , paiN , Imperial , and MIBR advancing alongside Team Liquid, Complexity, and Wildcard.

With four Brazilian representatives, the Shanghai Major promises to be a thrilling event for fans of the country's competitive CS2 scene. FURIA, considered the best-performing Brazilian team recently, debuts against GamerLegion. However, the initial highlight will be the clash between paiN and Imperial, which will guarantee at least one Brazilian team's presence in the second round.
MIBR will face Virtus.pro, a team with a long history on the global stage, in a match that promises to be intense. Furthermore, the performance of the Brazilian teams will be crucial to solidifying the country as an esports powerhouse.
International teams bring balance to the Major
Meanwhile, on the European scene, big names like Vitality, MOUZ, Natus Vincere, and FaZe Clan confirmed their favoritism in the RMR. However, the standouts were BIG and 3DMAX, who advanced undefeated in the RMR Europe B.
In addition, the tournament will also feature teams that surprised during the qualifiers, such as Passion UA, one of the surprises of the RMR, and Spirit, who secured a spot on the last day of competition.
