The animation is by studio C2C (Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu), the direction is by Toshiyuki Kubooka (Wandering Witch – The Journey of Elaina) with the assistance of Hiroki Ikeshita , and the character design and animation direction is by Ayumi Kurashima (DEVILMAN crybaby, Megalobox 2: Nomad).
Synopsis of Shangri-La Frontier
Rakurou Hizutome, a second-year high school student, is only interested in one thing: finding "crappy games" and beating them. His gaming skills are unmatched, and no game is too bad for him. So when he's introduced to the new VR game, he does what he does best: max it out and skip the prologue to jump straight into the action. But will even a skilled player like Rakurou be able to uncover all the secrets Shangri-La Frontier hides?
Toshiyuki Kubooka is directing the anime at C2C with assistant director Hiroki Ikeshita, while Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is supervising and writing the series scripts. Ayumi Kurashima is serving as character designer and chief animation director. The monaca is composing the music.
