Season 2 of the Shangri-La Frontier has a new trailer, introducing the series' Nephilim Hollow
Starting with episode 31, which airs on November 17, the new phase titled “Nephilim Hollow Arc” will begin. Therefore, the 2nd season of the Shangri-La Frontier anime premiered on October 13, 2024.

Shangri-La Frontier synopsis:
Rakurou Hizutome, a second year high school student, is only interested in one thing: finding “shitty games” and beating them. His playing skills are unparalleled, and no game is that bad for him. So when he's introduced to the new VR game, he does what he does best: maximizes and skips the prologue to jump straight into the action. But will even a skilled player like Rakurou be able to discover all the secrets that Shangri-La Frontier hides?
Finally, Shangri-La Frontier is a Japanese web novel series written by Katarina. Its serialization began on the novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in May 2017. As well as a manga adaptation, it has been serialized in Kodansha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine since July 2020.
