Toei Animation has released a promotional video dedicated to Sharedol, its new franchise. It's worth noting that Sharedol is developed in partnership between Toei and the young production team, SOTSU .

Sharedol Synopsis
The story takes place during the Kansei period of the Edo period (1603–1868), a time when entertainment was restricted, and depicts the activities of idols who struggle with their own problems. The central question is: why not include a modern concept in a story set in the past?
The development of Sharedol will therefore be based on the reaction of fans and potential business partners.
