The official website for the anime adaptation of Naoshi Arakawa's novel, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (April is Your Lie), has released a new promotional video. The video features a cover of the song "Uroko" (Fish Scale) by the band Goose House , sung by Motohiro Hata. The series premieres on Japanese TV in October.

The story of Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso revolves around Kosei Arima, a former child prodigy who lost his ability to play the piano when his mother died. His daily life is monochromatic, but begins to gain color when he meets a violinist by chance. Kaori Miyazono is a girl overflowing with personality. Enchanted by her, Kosei begins to move forward on his own two feet at the age of 14.

Kyohei Ishiguro (Fairy Tail, Psycho-Pass) is directing the anime at A-1 Pictures. The scripts are by Takao Yoshioka (WATAMOTE). Yukiko Aikei (Accel World, Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere) is serving as character designer and chief animation director.
