The official website for the anime adaptation of author Naoshi Arakawa has released a new trailer for the highly anticipated anime Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (April is Your Lie). The video features the song "Hikaru Nara" by the band Goose House. Additionally, the band will be performing other songs for the anime's commercials.
The story revolves around Kosei Arima, a former child prodigy who lost his ability to play the piano when his mother died. His daily life is monochromatic, but it begins to gain color when he meets a violinist by chance. Kaori Miyazono is a girl overflowing with personality. Enchanted by her, Kosei begins to move forward on his own two feet at the age of 14.
Kyohei Ishiguro (Fairy Tail, Psycho-Pass) is directing the anime at A-1 Pictures. The scripts are by Takao Yoshioka (WATAMOTE). Yukiko Aikei (Accel World, Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere) is serving as character designer and chief animation director.
