
The new anime adaptation of A- 1 Picture's Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, by author Naoshi Arakawa , has received a new trailer. The video was presented at a NicoNico channel conference.
Kyohei Ishiguro ( Fairy Tail, Psycho-Pass ) is directing the anime at A- 1 Picture. The scripts are by Takao Yoshioka ( WATAMOTE ). Yukiko Aikei ( Accel World, Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere ) is serving as character designer and chief animation director .
The manga debuted in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine in 2011, and the eighth compiled volume shipped in Japan last January . The series won the Shonen Manga category at the 37th Annual Kodansha Manga Awards last year.
The story revolves around Kosei Arima, a former child prodigy who lost his ability to play the piano when his mother died. His monochromatic daily begins to gain color when he meets a violinist by chance. Kaori Miyazono is a girl overflowing with personality. Enchanted by the young woman, Kosei begins to move forward on his own two feet at the age of 14.
