The new animation adaptation of A- 1 Picture Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso by author Naoshi Arakawa has a new trailer. The video was presented at a conference on the NicoNico channel.
Kyohei Ishiguro ( Fairy Tail, Psycho-Pass ) is directing the anime at A- 1 Picture. The script is by Takao Yoshioka ( WATAMOTE ). Yukiko Aikei ( Accel World, Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere ) is serving as character designer and chief animation director .
The manga debuted in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine in 2011, and the eighth compiled volume shipped in Japan last January . The series won the Best Shonen Manga at Kodansha 's 37th Annual Manga Awards last year.
The story revolves around Kosei Arima, a former child prodigy who lost his ability to play the piano when his mother died. His daily life is monochromatic and begins to gain color when he meets a violinist by chance. Kaori Miyazono is a one on one girl who is overflowing with personality. Enchanted by the girl, Kosei begins to move forward on his own legs at the age of 14.
