My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

Shun Matsuena 's manga Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi will have its 55th volume released on February 18th and will include an OVA with two new chapters. According to the news, a new promotional video for the OVA has been released .

Since 2002, the manga has been published by Shogakukan , with 54 volumes already published. The first 16 volumes were adapted into an anime by TMS Entertainment , consisting of 50 episodes and several OVAs. On November 15th, volume 54 was released, which included the final OVA.

Thus, the story of Shijou Saikyou revolves around the weak Kenichi, who is going to school and is abruptly knocked down by an incredibly skilled girl. Upon arriving at school, he discovers that she is a transfer student, and they quickly become friends.

Finally, Kenichi faces many problems in the karate club, including being a punching bag for the stronger members. One of the strongest members wants him out of the club, even if it means killing him. Seeking strength to confront his enemy, his new friend Miu advises him to train at a special dojo. However, he didn't know that she had already been a part of the dojo for a long time and that training there could change his life.
