The official website for the anime Kawaii dake Ja Nai Shikimori-san Keigo Maki 's manga has revealed the cast, staff, visuals and April 2022 premiere date.

Ryota Itoh ( Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi ) is directing the anime at Doga Kobo ( Yesterday wo Utatte ) with Shohei Yamanaka as assistant director. Yoshimi Narita ( Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi ) is in charge of the series scripts. Ai Kikuchi ( New Game!, Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru? ) is doing the character designs.
Synopsis
Shikimori seems like the perfect girlfriend: cute, fun to be around, sweet when she wants to be… but she has a nice dark side that comes out in the right circumstances. And her boyfriend, Izumi, loves being around when that happens! A fun and funny high school romance with a cheeky twist, perfect for fans of Nagatoro-san and Komi Can't Communicate!
Finally, Keigo Maki's romantic comedy manga Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san launched in February 2019 on Kodansha 's Magazine Pocket , and also has printed volumes.
