Ryota Itoh ( Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi ) is directing the anime at Doga Kobo ( Yesterday wo Utatte ) with Shohei Yamanaka as assistant director. Yoshimi Narita ( Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi ) is in charge of the series scripts. Ai Kikuchi ( New Game!, Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru? ) is doing the character design.
Synopsis

Finally, Keigo Maki's romantic comedy manga Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san was launched in February 2019 on Kodansha 's Magazine Pocket , and also has print volumes.
