The new Shikizakura anime has its premiere date. According to the official website , the series arrives on October 9th in Japan.
Synopsis:
High school student Kakeru Miwa, through a strange turn of events, ends up being an irregular member of a power suit team tasked with fighting the Oni. The Oni possess humans and try to cling to the transient world. However, only the power suit, Yoroi, which combines ancient secrets with the latest technology, can protect people from the Oni. Kakeru decides to become a hero who will fight the Oni and protect Oka Myojin, the shrine maiden destined to save the world.
Shin'ya Sugai is directing the anime at Subimation ( Love Live! Sunshine!! , Ghost in the Shell Arise ), while Tomoyasu Nishimura (Junketsu no Maria) is producing. Both Sugai and Nishimura are board members of Sublimation. K&K Design is credited for the character designs. The production will use hand drawing and 3D CG animation.
Finally, Shikizakura will consist of 12 30-minute episodes.
