The official website for Shikizakura , the original anime from Chukyo TV and Sublimation , released a promotional video on Tuesday announcing the anime's opening song. The video shows some scenes while the song “BELIEVE MYSELF” by singer Asaka .
Synopsis
High school student Kakeru Miwa, through a strange turn of events, ends up being an irregular member of a power suit team tasked with fighting the Oni. The Oni possess humans and try to cling to the transient world. However, only the power suit, Yoroi, which combines ancient secrets with the latest technology, can protect people from the Oni. Kakeru decides to become a hero who will fight the Oni and protect Oka Myojin, the shrine maiden destined to save the world.
The anime that premieres in early 2021 will have 12 30-minute episodes.

Shikizakura is set in the Tokai region, where most of the main staff are located. Shin'ya Sugai is directing the anime at Subimation ( Love Live! Sunshine!! , Ghost in the Shell Arise ), while Tomoyasu Nishimura (Junketsu no Maria) is producing. Both Sugai and Nishimura are board members of Sublimation. K&K Design is credited for the character designs. The production will use hand drawing and 3D CG animation.
The anime has the peculiarity that most of the Staff are based in Nagoya, in addition to Chukyo TV and Sublimation, the production committee also includes Tamakoshi, Nakanihon Kogyo and K&K Design. Singer Asaka is also from Nagoya.
TYK Promotion, which is based in Nagoya, held auditions for the voice actors of the anime's seven protagonists with main staff refereeing the audition.
