Shingeki no Kyojin makes history and wins award for best anime

At the same spectacular event where "Shingeki no Kyojin" received the Astra Award for Best Streaming Animated Series, the entertainment industry honored another icon. Hayao Miyazaki , a renowned Japanese filmmaker, received the Astra Award for Best International Filmmaker, further reinforcing anime's strong presence on the global scene.

Furthermore, the clash in the Best Animated Film category brought to light the nomination of the film “Suzume no Tojimari”, which, despite its notable contribution, was surpassed by “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”.
