Shingeki no Kyojin manga ends in April after 11 years

Kondansha announced that the Shingeki no Kyojin ( Attack on Titan manga by author Hajime Isayama will end on April 9th of this year. According to Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, the work lasted 11 and a half years of serialization and will have the release of the last volume on June 6th.

Thus, Isayama definitively confirmed that he would finish the manga as promised. He emphasized that the editors hadn't expanded the manga's length, but rather that the question "when will this end?" frequently arose during the final push. He hopes fans will continue enjoying the manga until the end, and promised to do his best until the very end.

Kodansha also joked that many projects are being prepared for the manga's completion, and also highlighted that the work has more than 100 million copies in circulation worldwide.

Finally, Isayama reported in November that the Shingeki no Kyojin manga was 1% to 2% complete.
