Kondansha announced that the manga Shingeki no Kyojin ( Attack on Titan ) by author Hajime Isayama ends on April 9th of this year. According to Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, the work lasted 11 and a half years of serialization and the last volume will be released on June 6th.

Therefore, Isayama confirmed once and for all that he would finish the manga as promised. He emphasized that the length of the manga was not expanded by the publishers, but rather the question “when will it end?” it often came during the final push. He hopes that fans will continue to enjoy the manga until the end, and promised to do his best until the end.
Kodansha also joked that many projects are being prepared to complete the manga, and also highlighted that the work has more than 100 million copies in circulation worldwide.
Finally, Isayama reported in November that the Shingeki no Kyojin manga was 1% to 2% away from completion.
