Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, 67 , was shot dead while delivering a speech in the city of Nara two days before a national election. According to reports, Shinzo Abe succumbed to his injuries.
A 41-year-old man who was behind the vehicle caused the shooting. He was taken to the hospital, and at 5:03 p.m. (Japan local time), doctors declared him dead.

I was unhappy with Abe and wanted to kill him, but it wasn't out of spite for his political beliefs.
Shinzo Abe was born into a political family, serving as secretary to his father, former Foreign Minister Shintaro Abe , before being elected to the House of Representatives in 1993. He eventually served as prime minister from 2006 to 2007, before taking office again in 2012. He resigned due to health problems after nearly eight years.
